In the metalworking industry, process-related chips and grinding swarf are produced which have to be disposed of at high cost. The high proportion of liquid in the chips and grinding sludge is problematic and thus partly responsible for the high disposal costs. Further costs are incurred by the replacement of the disposed liquid quantity.

FAUDI screw presses can reduce these costs. This is done by compacting the chips or grinding sludge in the screw press. This reduces the volume to be disposed of and at the same time a large part of the liquid can be recovered and is immediately available for production again.

FAUDI screw presses can be combined with all commercially available filter systems from other manufacturers or used as an economical stand-alone solution.
